First trainee selection day Chemelot Career Center

On the 10th of July, the Chemelot Career Centre organized the first selection day for trainees. (Almost) graduated university students with a technical, business or economic background came to the Brightlands Chemelot Campus for a tour, a nice lunch and a presentation about the goals of Chemelot by Business Development Director Frank Schaap. They also got a sneak peek of the development program that HRMoovs will shape on behalf of the Career Center during the two-year traineeship.

After lunch, the potential trainees pitched in front of six directors of OCI Nitrogen, Fibrant, Utility Support Group, SABIC, ARLANXEO and Sitech Services. Afterwards, there were 1-on-1 conversations between trainees and the directors. In the upcoming days there will be a selection on which trainees will start with their Chemelot traineeship in autumn.

It was a fun and inspirational day of which more will follow in the upcoming years. As part of the vision ‘Chemelot 2025’, Human Capital is on the agenda. Besides initiatives to keep talents on site, there are all kinds of initiatives to attract talents from secondary vocational education, college and university.
