CHEMaterials Campus

In 2008, the "CHEMaterials Campus" project (full name: the High Chem & New Materials Campus project) was launched. The objective of this collaboration between DSM and Hogeschool Zuyd is to make the Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen the Materials Valley of Europe by focusing on Open Chemical Innovation.

The object is to attract companies that are active in the field of chemicals, materials and life sciences to the South Limburg region as the ideal location for business, research and development and education. This is where new materials are developed that can enable companies to gain leadership positions in many different product-market combinations worldwide.

DSM and Zuyd University are convinced that this ambition can be achieved if a number of parties from the region pull together. These two parties have taken the first step.
